Young Leader Update 07/11

Emily Caldwell was invested (at last!) on the last day of the Cubs' summer term at Worton Woods. She was also presented with her YL award and looks forward to catching up with the lads on the 4 Mission badges.

Brad gains his second mission Badge and Mark gains his first. Both YLs had to organise and run 3 indoor scout meetings to achieve this.
Both were really pleased with their success!!





Young Leader Update 10/10/10

A new Young Leader joins the leadership team of 1st Bartons Scout Troop!

Mark was delighted to make the official transition from scout to YL with a formal investiture ceremony. He was awarded his YL badge and looks forward to gaining his 4 mission badges and the coveted Young Leader belt buckle. You can tell this from the pic!!

On the same night, Brad received his first Mission badge and he was really pleased too! :)



     











Young Leaders Gain Award !

Brad and Sorrel have taken the first step to achieving a prestigious award. They have completed their 'basic' training and now have another 10 training modules to complete. Also they will have to undertake the 4 Mission Badges that go with this award.

This will involve working closely with the Beaver section (in Sorrel's case) and the Scout sectionj (in Brad's case).
